This department encompasses the broadest spectrum of surgery — abdominal, breast, endocrine gland, and colorectal surgery (hemorrhoids, fissures, rectal tumors). Before deciding on surgical intervention, all auxiliary diagnostic methods are employed — endoscopy, tomography, PET-FDG, specialized radiocontrast and isotope diagnostics.
In the operating room, the surgeon has a complete anatomical map of the patient's surgical field displayed on a special screen. Surgical intervention is performed under strict pathological control, providing precise cellular-level information about the quality of removed tissue and the absence of tumor at wound margins.
This ensures a comprehensive surgical procedure without leaving residual tumor in the intervention area. The "Sentinel node" method allows precise identification of the tumor-affected lymph node and its isolation from multiple lymph nodes through revision diagnostics.
All of the aforementioned technologies elevate surgery to the most modern level, guaranteeing the health and lives of our patients — without these technologies, surgical intervention in our time would be unthinkable.
The surgical department of the medical center performs all laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures with cosmetic subcutaneous suturing.
