Horev Medical Center implements rehabilitation programs for all patient groups. These include patients recovering from a wide range of limb procedures (orthopedic rehabilitation), patients after abdominal surgery (surgical rehabilitation), patients after thoracic procedures (lungs, mediastinum, heart — cardiothoracic rehabilitation), patients recovering from strokes or neurosurgical brain interventions (neurological rehabilitation), and finally spinal patients — spinal cord injuries, surgeries, and pathologies. Each specific type of rehabilitation has a defined goal — to maximize the patient's functional status, thereby improving their quality of life. The rehabilitation department employs dozens of specialists, working under the leadership of department head Prof. A. Friedman, treating a wide variety of patients across all areas of physical rehabilitation. The technological spectrum ranges from resistance bands to robots equipped with programs that enable patients to get back on their feet in the shortest possible time.

Before a rehabilitation program begins, a rehabilitation specialist assesses the patient's functional status through the following examinations:

1. Brain and spinal MRI
2. Electromyographic study
3. Neurophysiology of evoked potentials of cranial and spinal
nerves.
4. Complete blood count
5. Radiological imaging of extremities
6. Neurological status assessment

After receiving the study results, a team of rehabilitation specialists determines the precise rehabilitation program, its duration, cost, and length of stay at Horev Medical Center before departure and continuation of the program at the patient's place of residence, following the physicians' prescribed recommendations.
